PRC10SJO is an official 8.1 km circular trail of about 3 hours and medium difficulty, starting at Calheta harbour. The route climbs via Ladeira Velha, passes the Ladeira Velha Picnic Park and Rua de Baixo Viewpoint, reaches Biscoitos and then follows the Caminho das Fontes, a historic route once used to collect water from Fontes da Rocha and wash clothes. It then reaches Fajã Grande before returning along the coast and through Calheta heritage sites.
