A break beside the stream
The Azores tourism portal lists tables and benches, some covered, as well as barbecues. That proximity makes it easy to build a day without repeated driving: swimming, the village, walking and a simple meal can all fit into the same area.
Its value is mainly practical: it supports a wider day in the village rather than being an attraction on its own. Covered tables can be useful for families and groups who want a more comfortable break. A practical picnic stop beside the swimming pools in Faial da Terra, with tables, benches and barbecues.
